Principal Enterprise Architect

Up to £90,000 + Annual bonus – Hybrid with client site expectations

A new fantastic opportunity has arisen from a well-established consultancy looking to continue growth in line with their continuous success. The role of Enterprise Architect will see you provide support to a range of high-profile public sector and defence clients. You will be playing a part in some nationally critical projects ensuring the maximum benefit of technological investments are achieved for each and every client. Due to the nature of the work and clientele, you may be expected to be based on client sites.

The business aims to support every member of the team through this, whether that’s providing online support or guidance from a dedicated career mentor running the courses in-house.

Day to day;

  • Providing high-value solutions that align with customer requirements & expectations
  • Deal with stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Assisting in the production of high-quality formal deliverables
  • Provide support and strategic input to delivery teams
  • Develop architecture views to describe all aspects of the client's organisation
  • Review other members of the teams’ deliverables

Must have;

  • Expertise in developing and analysing architecture across the business, application, data & infrastructure domains
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain UK security clearance
  • Experience with a minimum of two of the following methods and standards;
  • Enterprise and technical architectural methods - TOGAF / MODAF
  • Government Digital Service approaches - BPMN / UML
  • Business or systems analysis methods - AGILE / SCRUM
  • Programme and project management methods - MSP / PRINCE2 / DSDM / scaled agile framework 
  • Public sector best practice guidance - ITIL / OGC toolkit

Desirable;

  • Experience within the Defence / Public sector
  • Involvement with business transformation programmes
  • Hands-on exposure providing a consultative delivery service 
  • Being a quick thinking & self-motivated individual –
  • A strong ability to apply a structured approach to an unfamiliar subject matter
