Working with the business’s customers, this role requires an experienced Software Analyst to work with the development teams on the next generation of marketable platforms.

Always forward thinking with product innovation and increasing functionality, this role will need someone who is comfortable gathering requirements from business analysts, business owners and of course product managers to identify potential and appropriate solutions.

When said solutions is agreed, functional and technical documentation will need to be created for the development team to code and start the delivery process of the solution, liaising with you for any other changes that may be necessary.

Skills / experience required:

• Excellent communication skills – At tech and nontechnical levels for requirements gathering
• Documenting of approaches and estimates for business requirements
• Design of database schema or API/web service interfaces 
• Ability to interpret existing functions directly from code
• Big Picture thinking – The ability to look at the task in hand, but the larger picture
• Working on appropriate solutions for business requirements against proposed technical solutions
• Identifying technical deliverables and the risks or impacts of the solution
• Having worked in an Agile Environment – SCRUM, Lean or Kanban would be helpful
• Web Applications and a RDBMS knowledge

This role will particularly suit a collaborator who has been in a development environment for 3 years or so, enjoys the view of the wider business and who may have had exposure from a senior or analytical position or project. In terms of further experience, any exposure to complex or large volume high-transaction systems would be excellent.
